Action 1

Catalan excellence, eco-responsible know-how

Let's support Catalan artisans in their ecological transition. A registered trademark will promote their responsible approach and know-how. This strong identity will enable them to stand out clearly from the competition and communicate their commitments.

  • Eco CAT+ certification
  • Round-table discussion on the theme of water
  • Energy consulting visit

ECO-CAT+: The Catalan eco-label for committed craftsmen

Catalan eco-label

Supported by the CMA Occitanie and the CCI de Girona, the ECO-CAT+ brand embodies a new ambition for craft businesses on both sides of the Pyrenees: to combine economic performance, environmental responsibility and territorial roots.

Why ECO-CAT+?

In a world in transition, Catalan artisans are mobilizing to build a more sustainable, local and innovative economy. The ECO-CAT+ label was born out of this desire to promote companies that make a concrete commitment to the environment and their region.

The benefits of the Catalan eco-label

ECO-CAT+ certified companies can :

  • Official recognition of their environmental commitment
  • Access cutting-edge technical training to innovate and adopt sustainable practices
  • Join a dynamic cross-border network of committed craftspeople

ECO-CAT+ is much more than a label. It's..:

  • A gas pedal of ecological transition
  • A showcase for artisan talent
  • A bridge between tradition and innovation

A structuring cross-border project

ECO-CAT+ is part of the European INTERREG POCTEFA program, via the EsCaT - Espace Catalan Transfrontalier- initiative. This project promotes unprecedented cooperation between North and South Catalonia, in the service of a greener, more connected craft economy.

Who can apply?

The Catalan Ecolabel is aimed at craft businesses located in North Catalonia (France) and South Catalonia (Spain), ready to commit to a process of environmental and territorial progress.
