Objective
The CAT est project was born with the aim of improving access to training and apprenticeships for cross-border craftsmen, fostering resilience and cooperation.

Strategy
The project is being developed along four main lines (water management, ecological branding, professional training, gastronomic promotion), through cross-border cooperation between CMA66 and CCI Girona.

Zone of influence
The CAT project operates in the Girona region of Spain and in the French department of Pyrénées Orientales.

Action 1
Catalan excellence, eco-responsible know-how
Let's support Catalan artisans in their ecological transition. A registered trademark will promote their responsible approach and know-how. This strong identity will enable them to stand out clearly from the competition and communicate their commitments.
Action 2
Catalan craftsmanship goes to the next level
Master Classes
To develop their expertise and know-how, we offer 120 Catalan craftsmen the unique opportunity to take part in master classes. These courses will enable them to perfect their techniques and elevate their art.

Action 3
A path to Catalan authenticity
Catalan Products Route
The aim is to create a Route des Produits Catalans to showcase Catalan gastronomy, agriculture and crafts. A book, a website and a travelling exhibition in town halls will present this unique heritage to as many people as possible.
